CBD Buyers Still Need to Beware

Remedy Review, a natural health product testing service, conducted tests on 15 separate CBD products including oils, gummies, and capsules. 8 out of the 15 tested products were seriously mislabeled and contained at least 20% less CBD than advertised. One of the tested products — Nature’s Tru gummies — contained zero CBD despite listing a strength of 500mg on the label.

Remedy Review’s Executive Editor Marc Lewis commented on the results: Demand for CBD has outpaced quality control standards. Brands that bring poor quality products to market put consumers at risk, waste people’s money, and erode trust in a promising new product category.
