Letter Shoppe

Letter Shoppe

Trippy. Psychedelic. Empowering. Just a few of the words that artist Dean Rodriguez uses to describe their homegrown apparel brand that sparks conversations around mental health, body positivity, and cannabis.

Dean, who identifies as non-binary, started Letter Shoppe as a side hustle to be more creative outside of their graphic design job, but with more than 80 thousand Instagram followers, their business has evolved into a fully-loaded art apparel brand with 100+ products and growing.

Many of Dean’s original designs, which they create in their small Michigan studio, inspire people to embrace change and self-discovery, amplify self-love and celebrate their bodies. Tees, hoodies, sweatshirts, crop tops, shorts and leggings are available in unisex sizes XS-3XL+.

“Pass Joints, Not Judgment” is the graphic that launched it all for Letter Shoppe, and it’s still one of their most popular designs encouraging people to pass around some 420 vibes in a judgment-free zone.

If you have to put a label on Letter Shoppe’s style, Dean describes it as “wearable dopamine.”

“The world is emploding right now so it’s nice to be able to get some serotonin where you can get it,” Dean says. “It’s all about taking ownership over your own life and trying to let loose of the things that you can’t control while always striving for self-improvement.”
