There’s no denying the popularity of CBD. A new Gallup poll revealed that one in seven Americans now reach for CBD for its therapeutic effects. Google recently reported 6.4 million searches for CBD on their search engine, and the Journal of the American Medical Association, predicted that these searches will only increase as interest grows.

Studies are still being conducted, but this non-intoxicating hemp extract is credited by many with successfully treating symptoms associated with a wide variety of medical problems from inflammation and chronic pain to anxiety. It’s no wonder that during a time of global pandemic and political unrest, many consumers have turned to CBD as a way of relieving anxiety and stress.

“It’s a perfect storm for CBD,” says Hussein Rakine, founder & CEO of JustCBD. “Every single activity that used to be super easy, from going to the supermarket to traveling, has turned into a stressful situation. There are so many touch points now that CBD is a perfect alternative solution for them.”

The Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (aka the Farm Bill) legalized CBD that is derived from hemp and contains no more than 0.3% THC (by dry weight). But not all CBD products are created equal. That’s because unlike medical marijuana, hemp-derived CBD is a federally unregulated product. This means that new brands are free to pop up every day. These companies have no obligation to test their products for actual cannabidiol content, consistency among batches, or even safety (metals, solvents, etc.)

That ambiguity, and the need for transparency and consistent, safe and high-quality products, was one of the main reasons that Rakine and his partners launched JustCBD.

“Looking around, we found that the CBD business was consistently misrepresented. At JustCBD, we believe that you have the right to know what is inside your CBD products,” Rakine says. “It is our mission and promise never to misrepresent the content of our products — JustCBD is made with industry-leading quality, honesty, and love.”

JustCBD has a catalog of more than 300 products from edibles and tinctures to bath bombs and vape cartridges, and even CBD treats for pets — all using CBD processed from an organically grown industrial hemp source in Oregon.

JustCBD partners with some of the most reputable labs in the field, Kaycha Labs, known around the world for its high standards of testing methods, as well as its stringent procedures, being their number one testing facility. Products are consistently third party tested several times throughout the manufacturing process, and official analyses and certificates of authenticity are available to the public.

An in-house legal team at JustCBD makes sure labels and caution statements meet compliance standards and a dedicated research & development staff ensures regulations are met at the formulation level. The manufacturing facility, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where the company is headquartered, is undergoing constant changes to stay ahead of the curve where state and federal requirements are concerned.

Not only is JustCBD an advocate for CBD, but the company also takes an active role in promoting the sound development for the emerging hemp industry. Rakine is a board member of the Florida Hemp Council (FLHC) that represents all aspects of the industry from farms to retailers.

Year after year, JustCBD has seen extensive growth in the smoke shop and vape world. Prior to forming JustCBD in 2017, Rakine was involved with Speedy Distribution, one of the East Coast’s largest smoke and vape vendors of smoke, where he gained an in-depth understanding of the market and the realization of a need for a CBD brand focused on lifestyle, which means figuring out what their customers want to achieve and tailoring their brand to the experiences that their customers crave.

Gummies are one of JustCBD’s most popular products. Available in 250 mg, 500 mg, 75 0mg, 1000 mg, and 3,000 mg jars, the CBD gummies come in an array of sweet and sour fruit flavors, including Classic Clear Bears, Sour Worms, and Peach Rings. There’s even a newly launched vegan version made with no GMOs (genetically modified organisms) or animal products whatsoever.

According to Marketing Manager Lourdes de la Cabada, Gummies are an approachable way to consume CBD.

“You get approximately 10 milligrams of CBD per Gummy, so people can comfortably dose up or down and experiment with different levels of CBD to find what works best for them on an individual basis,” she explains.

JustCBD’s rechargeable vape pens are another uncomplicated way to enjoy CBD while on the go. Distributing 200 mg of CBD each, sleek CBD vapes come in three satisfying flavors: Delicious Berry Blue, Succulent Strawberry, and Wild Watermelon. Also available are signature lines of e-juice and pre-filled cartridges in a variety of popular strengths and flavors.

With so many dubious products infiltrating the market, JustCBD Signature brand products give consumers the confidence of quality assurance.

“We stand behind our products and use the term “Signature” to make sure consumers understand that our products are high-quality and compliant with regulations for everything from ingredients and manufacturing processes to packaging,” de la Cabada states. “The goal is to give consumers a sense of security about what they’re putting into their bodies.”

Smoke shops, vape stores and cannabis dispensaries can be confident in JustCBD as well. Orders typically ship within 24 hours from the company’s 50,000 square-foot warehouse and manufacturing facility, and there is also a 30-day hassle-free refund guarantee.

JustCBD recently kick-started their in-store sampling promotion program with individually packaged gummies and honey sticks. Brand ambassadors will be visiting stores to hand out free samples and educate customers about the products.

JustCBD was founded on the basis that CBD is “Mother Nature’s secret miracle.” Now, they’re doing everything possible to make sure that secret gets out.

“Everyone involved with the company has tried to be very nimble so that we can satisfy the varying customer needs,” says Rakine. “In doing so, JustCBD has been able to successfully develop and manufacture products for the different moments of life and the different touch points for consumers.”
